Any ideas about what I could use to make a RUSTIC, unique shower curtain for my bathroom? - jar dispenser
I just renovated my bathroom very rustic. (We live in the sticks, it is therefore appropriate.) I painted beige, and all accessories are new or old office Barnwood. The soap dispenser is a pot of old age, so the best thing for me. I try to think a good idea for a rustic shower curtain. I jute in another room, if you do not, then visit - other ideas? Ideally something that would be used in window treatments could be good, too. I tossed around the idea of a patchwork-looking shower curtain, but I'm not sure if this is quite hardy.

Bags of flour and feed and grain bags, sewn, shown with raw edges. You can find them in the sale of goods, auctions, flea markets. Or you can do an image search on one of the best search engines (such as dogpile.com) and you will find some models of antiquity.
Or, if a few pages from the catalog very old, can Robucks including blankets and Sears catalogs, they are printed and processed iron products, on a blanket or natural cotton. Good old Sears catalogs, a staple food in the offices of yesterday! ;)
Good luck!

They have very creative ideas. I think you could shower curtain a quilt, just select the fabric and design appropriate to the rustic look. To this end, the "right" homespun fabric covers (fabric, checks or stripes) and muslin, fabrics are both relatively cheap. They have cut two ways in Homespun - either keep everything very carefully to the lines straight, or very much aware of cut off point. If you do this, the bias exposed edges that extend to the vertical grain. Making the match foundations (also compile a " '), and if you do this it to stabilize the structure. A log cabin is ideal for your project, because it can be rebuilt foundation, is making it very easy to use, and is in a rustic style. If you use muslin to their bases, which can block without a cane or the backup sew. It is necessary to fold the muslin on the sewing side of the terminal blocks, embedded in the first frame, then apply below.
Check the connections you just find a few photos of Log Cabin quilts, and instructions in the block.
